El Balconcito II: Reviews & Ratings
This place was amazing! I've passed this restaurant so many times. No fancy signs. Very assuming. But came Friday evening and there were a good number of people inside. The bar was full and half the tables filled. The staff were nice and the food was delicious. Ordered a mixed paella and sweet plantains. The paella had clams, mussels, chicken, beef, sausage, shrimp, and half a lobster. The size was huge!! My friend and I shared it for dinner, and each of us had a whole serving to take home. Definitely could feed 3-4 people for $34. The flavor of the paella was very good. They also ask if you want it wet, dry, or medium.
Food was top notch, coffee excellent. Service was a little slow and forgot my flan. Overall, I will be going back again.
Great Spanish food and very nice portion sizes. Have been there twice and both times the service was great. The only problem you'll have is choosing something from the menu! I would definitely recommend the bistec empanado with the white rice and beans!
Service was great and food was delicious, only thing is rice had almost no flavor.
Nice small business, I have to be honest the food overall was a 5.9 but I think it was mostly because they didn't speak English and I just had to point to pictures on the menu.
First time eating at this restaurant. The food was delicious for sure. Very tasty. My seating experience was not great though. I waited for a very long time before the waiter came over to take our order. A very long time but overall it was worth it. I would definitely give it another try.
I have been to both to this location as well as other one. I went with Pollo a la Brasa, Lomo Saltado, Jalea Mixta, Maduros, and Arroz Amarillo and Frijoles. All were very good. Rosy was very nice and I would recommend this place to others for delicious Peruvian and Portuguese food.
The food was flavorful, fresh and sizable portions. From our drinks, appetizers and meal, everything was perfect. The drinks were so good. I went and stopped at the liquor store to recreate them. The service was good.
